Prof. Edward Haliżak, director of the Institute of International Relations (University of Warsaw), and prof. Dariusz Milczarek, director of Centre for Europe (University of Warsaw), invite PECSA members to participate in international scientific conference “The World’s Perception of the European Union” that will take place on 23 October 2014 in Pałac Kazimierzowski, ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28. The Conference is coorganized by PECSA and Polish Society of International Studies (PTSM). Prof. Ewa Latoszek, chairwoman of PECSA, will moderate a panel on “Transatlantic relations – American and European perception”. PZU Foundation is the strategic partner of the Conference.

On 1-2 October 2014 Jean Monnet/ECSA Conference on the future of the European Studies/European Union Studies was held in Brussels. Participants from Poland included Prof. Ewa Latoszek and dr Marta Pachocka (PECSA chairwoman and secretary). During the Conference General Assembly of ECSA-World was held. Professor Enrique Banus from Spain was re-elected for another 2 year term as president of ECSA-World and prof. Ewa Latoszek was elected vice-president.

On November 13-14, 2013 PECSA took part in conference on „Challenges and dilemmas of European Integration” that celebrated 30 years of Center for European Integration Research at University of Gdańsk and awarding a honorary degree by University of Gdańsk to professor Wilhelmus Molle.
